A real-time Celigo integration that creates NetSuite purchase orders whenever a Salesforce record changes.

The challenge

Scheduled syncs leave a gap between a change in Salesforce and the purchase order in NetSuite. When timing matters, the ERP needs to react the moment the CRM record changes.

How it works

  1. Real-time Salesforce integration. Built a real-time, event-based Salesforce integration in Celigo.
  2. Apex trigger. A Salesforce Apex trigger calls the Celigo flow whenever the record is modified.
  3. Purchase orders in NetSuite. The flow creates the NetSuite Purchase Order from the Salesforce data.

Highlights

  • Event-driven through an Apex trigger, not polling.
  • No delay between the CRM change and the ERP record.

The result

Purchase orders appear in NetSuite as soon as the Salesforce record changes.
