A Celigo integration that turns CSV files on an FTP server into NetSuite journal entries.
The challenge
Accounting data often arrives as CSV files that do not match NetSuite’s journal entry structure, so someone has to reshape and import them every period.
How it works
- Collect the files. Created the FTP connection and pulled the CSV files from the server.
- Restructure the data. Restructured the CSV rows into NetSuite journal entry lines.
- Custom mapping logic. Used Handlebars (HBS) in the mapping for logic the standard mapper could not express.
- Post journal entries. Created the Journal Entries in NetSuite.
Highlights
- Handlebars templates for custom mapping logic.
- File-to-ledger automation with no manual import.
The result
Journal entries from files post to NetSuite automatically and consistently.
