A Boomi integration that turns CSV files from an SFTP server into NetSuite vendors, item receipts and vendor bills, and retries automatically when something fails.
The challenge
Supplier bills arriving as files have to become vendors, receipts and bills in NetSuite, in the right order. If a new vendor is missing, the bill cannot be created; if a step fails silently, a bill goes unpaid.
How it works
- Secure file pickup. Connects to the SFTP server with SSH authentication and reads the CSV flat files.
- Vendor and item receipt. Creates the vendor in NetSuite when it does not exist yet, together with the Item Receipt.
- Vendor bill. Once the vendor exists, creates the vendor bill associated with that vendor.
- Automatic failure handling. If creating a vendor or a vendor bill fails, the integration retries automatically and creates the record.
Highlights
- Creates missing vendors on the fly so bills are never blocked.
- Built-in retry for vendor and vendor-bill failures.
- Records created in dependency order: vendor, item receipt, bill.
The result
Bills from files reach NetSuite reliably, including for new suppliers, and temporary failures fix themselves instead of waiting for someone to notice.
